1. You Have a Hard Time Focusing

Many adults have carried this characteristic throughout their lives since the time they were children. It could be a personality habit that you can't change. Maybe you still put off responding to text messages or calling people to return calls. You may always be late for work or other activities. If these habits are causing disruption to your routine it could be a sign of an adult add. Refusing to tackle issues can cause depression, anxiety, and eventually burnout.
5. You have a difficult time Staying Well-organized
It may seem like your problems with procrastination in high school are over but, in reality, these habits can stick around into adulthood. For instance, if you often find yourself misplacing things or putting items out in the open where others can view they are an indication that you're in need of improving your organizational skills. In the same way, if you're always hitting snooze on your alarm and then forgetting to ensure that your family's cat is fed, or put off completing tasks due until you're up against the deadline, these behaviors could be indicative of adult ADHD.
